Aftermath of Xmas - Life through a Sake Glass...

The aftermath of Xmas...while everyone will be nursing a bad splitting headache from a glass too many, we headed off to an amazing eye-opening retreat....

The Mani Retreat which all of us had found it intriguing previously and we decided to give it a try this year.

It was an intensive 3 days retreat with quick and intense chanting sessions. Well for starters, we decided to try it on a part-time basis. Nothing too intensive, just an AM session....

And yes...it was both enlightening and meaningful all at the same time.

And it was really very well organised. No horrendous crowd, no horrendous and noisy aunties.

Everyone's mind was at peace after the session.

FD flipping through some books during the break....I got to say FD chanted the loudest and longest I think :)

Throughout the whole enlightenment session, I remembered this 4 words the best....

Lets hope I can realign this phrase into my next year's motto - peace in the heart... :)

A lunch out with FD's friends in the afternoon....

Goodness...I guess I am just in the wrong shop...imagine MBA geeks with kiasu wives trying to figure out what's best for their kids even during the Xmas holidays

And gosh were there so many kids running all around...its terrifying....I REALLY CANT IMAGINE IF THEY CAME OVER TO OUR HOUSE...GOSHHHHHHHH They will tear everything apart :(

Ok after cooping in FD's friend's place for 2.5 hrs....we decided to head off to Somerset@313....

Interesting place......and they had so many levels for FOREVER21!!! Goodness....I think i can try till siao and buy them online cos its much cheaper on line whahhhahahahahahaha...

And after that we decide to head off to explore Orchard Central...

Look look at the long long escalators....

And of cos...whats more relaxing than unwinding infront of our dirty little Singapore longkang with a nice glass of sake........

Sake and finger food anyone.....its definitely a good form of relaxation for both me and FD :)

And we headed home to try RM's dumplings...(or watever she called it :))

Its yummy!!!!!!!! Though I still think it will taste more delicious with chestnuts in them to make them have the crunchy taste...

Yes, every year is the same...

After 3 consecutive years, and its still the same kind, same race, same gender.

I closed my case for that.

3 consecutive years is definitely not a coincident.

When Charice came out to perform, I nearly wanted to dig a hole to hide myself in it. She must definitely be laughing all the way to the ladies...when she heard our local talent...

Gosh...wat embarassment :(

A Crisp and Clear Xmas

We decided to watch Avatar in 3D on Xmas....


So much rave about this movie to give it a miss...I guess the only person who did not rave anything about this is CW...I believe he did not watch it in 3D la.......


Constant peeping if our Xmas lunch is coming up...starving like mad...


Me snatching my phone back....

Please dont waste my battery life -.-


One disadvantage of this silly phone is - it will just switch off on you once the battery life has ended without any conserved energy!

And 5 stars for Avatar in 3D!!! Its really damn good, the colours were so vivid and details so detailed :)

I guess everything was in 3D it made it so real....

Guys...remember you got to watch it in 3D ok!!

And dinner time!!! And we were so happy cos its RM's treat...wahahhahahahaha

Wings telling us his problem in work....while RM browsing through the menu..

Its been a darn long time since we visited Fish and Co.

I got to say the branch in Great World had great service...and the food there was good compared to the Novena's branch...

I love the pizza and yes most importantly its a treat from RM :)

And after a heavy carbo meal, its time to put all our relationships to the test....

Its our favourite game at the moment bought by FD - Pictionary...it did create ruckus throughout the whole game.....

Lets hope the silly bloody loser dont come up to our house and complaint on the noise we created....

Sad low lifer who do not have a life and cant just let other people be happy...chey lousy scrooge!

After "spreading the joyous gossip of having such a nice neighbour", we realised that we were not the only one who has such "gracious neighbours". :)

My poor neighbour next door also kana complained by the neighbour residing below his unit due to littering....

Crazy bunch of idiots staying in our lower levels..no wonder they are fated to say together...idiots attract idiots *bleHhhhhh*

A Fun Pre-Merry Xmas

Did you have a great break???

Yes both me and FD had a tremendous good time over these 4 long days....Goodness its so good till we dread going to work this AM....back to the mad hatter race everyone...

But hey!! Its only 3.5 days this week, folks...so hang on there ok!

All of us thought of a good plan before RM arrived....quick quick...lets do it Dudi!! Kekekeke the guys having a good time in the living room while I quickly do up the final touches for our meal....

*Incase you are wondering...we are having our annual steamboat party.......and yes I will much prefer the guys to be outside rather than with me and create more mess for me to clear up later -.-


The Jurong brothers carefully opening up the wine...yes more moscato please :) We were definitely hooked up especially me to moscato after RM's wedding...they tasted so pleasant and sweet :)

Kuedos to Wings & RM for grabbing the last few bottles for the party!
